After a gorgeous sunny and warm day in St. Anne’s, visitors and residents all made their way to the Shul Hall for our Grand Supper Quiz.
Starting at 6’o’clock sharp (well that was the plan LOL) – we had a full house having sold ALL our tickets.
Prepared and served by the members of the Ladies Social Circle, supper began with Adrienne’s excellent Leek and Potato Soup and this was followed by Naomi’s Herb Encrusted Salmon with new potatoes and vegetables.
Our guest, Steven Pearlman, began the quiz at 7pm, as we were finishing our main course, and after Michelle gave a welcoming speech.
During the break, desert of Plum Crumble, Ice Cream and Brownies was served with the Tea and Coffee.
The second half of the quiz – equally as spirited as the first half – finished around 10pm and it was obvious that all who attended declared A SUCCESS !
The winning table walked it (shhh, the Rabbi wasn’t on the winning table, but keep that to yourself) – thus proving what a clever lot we are on the Fylde Coast 🙂
Following many requests, The Ladies Circle Committee, who hosted the event, promised this would be repeated !
