I am very pleased to announce the opening of shul for services as follows:
Tuesday 23rd March, Ma’ariv at 7:00 pm
Thursday 25th March, Shacharit at 9:00 am
Sunday 28th March, Shacharit first day of Pesach at 10:00 am
Monday 29th March, Shacharit second day of Pesach at 10:00 am
Thursday 1st April, Shacharit Chol Hamoed Pesach at 9:00 am
Saturday 3rd April, Shacharit seventh day of Pesach at 10:00 am
Sunday 4th April, Shacharit eighth day of Pesach at 10:00 am
Monday 5th April, Ma’ariv at 7:00 pm
And thereafter regular services on Thursday, Shabbat and Monday. Any member requiring a minyan for a yahrtzeit should let Philip Lefton know as before.
Please note the above services will not be zoomed but the Friday Kabbalat Shabat Zoom services will continue as before.
In respect of the Thursday morning Shacharit services, it had been difficult to obtain a minyan before lockdown took over. We are going to reinstate a rota arrangement for the 9:00 am service and I therefore appeal to the gentlemen of the community who are able to attend at least once every three weeks to let me know and I will arrange the rota, many thanks.
We are hoping to announce a “Welcome Back” special Shabat kiddush in May, covid permitting, and further details will be announced in due course.
For all the above services, and going forward until further notice, all the previous covid precautions, i.e. social distancing, mask wearing etc will continue.
